NETFLIX DARK Netflix Dark may be the best series so far on Netflix, but it is as well, a lot confusing. The plot is coupled with various time frames and parallel worlds. PHEWA LAKE, POKHARA, NEPAL Phewa Lake, Nepal ©Varun Singala Phewa Lake  is the second largest lake in Nepal. It is a semi-natural freshwater lake enveloped by rani ban or queen's forest and stunning reflection of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges in the clear lake waters. It is also a perfect place to experience the ever so glorious Himalayan sunrises. One can hire a colourful boat called doonga  and sail through the lake for a relaxing ride. Although its size has decreased over the years, Phewa Lake is still the second largest lake in Nepal. It has some religious significance too as it is known for the sacred Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in the lake. Baidam or lakeside of Pokhara on the eastern part has some amazing lodges, restaurants, cafes and bookshops.   HARMANDIR SAHIB (Golden Temple) Amritsar Punjab Harmandir Sahib ©Varun Singala Amritsar is world-famous for the beautiful and highly revered Golden Temple or Sri Harmandir Sahib, which is one of the most prominent spiritual sites in the country. The temple is a two-storeyed structure with its top half covered in almost 400 kg of pure gold leaf, which is what earned it its English moniker.  Harmandir Sahib ©Varun Singala Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the leader of the Sikh empire, is believed to have initiated the construction in the 19th century. The rest of the temple complex is built in white marble, inlaid with precious and semi-precious colourful stones. To create motifs, the pietra dura technique has been used.
